Microturbine Energy

Gas turbines have been utilized for energy production for many decades. Efficiency, durability and longevity, along with being environmentally friendly, are the basic reasons for making use of this type of power plant. Mostly used for massive grid production of electricity, conventional turbine production of power is now available in a smaller scale from 30kw to one megawatt units. The microturbine can now be put into production of energy for local and smaller distributive power systems using the following fuel sources.

  1. Natural Gas - LPNG, HPNG, CNG
  2. Propane
  3. Flare Gas / Sour Gas
  4. Bio-Gas
  5. Diesel
  6. Kerosene

A microturbine system can either be used as a full time power source or as a standby emergency arrangement. Microturbine energy production is the most reliable grid replacement system on the market today and Houston Natural Energy is positioned to provide these microturbine systems for any electrical energy requirement.

Microturbines are used in the following applications.

  • Oil Fields
  • Gas Pipelines
  • Communication Centers / Towers
  • Commercial Buildings
  • Residential
